When the coronavirus pandemic hit, many students across the country and around the world were placed in a unique situation, probably unlike anything they’ve ever faced in all in their years of schooling. Stemming from public health concerns, many schools largely shifted from in-person instruction to remote learning. Our students and leaders of tomorrow had no choice but to adapt to a new normal. Even when in-classroom meetings resumed, there were still forever-altered circumstances facing students, on top of their normal curriculum.
The Husband & Wife Law Team knows that the upcoming graduating classes are just beginning an exciting journey that will culminate in a positive impact on society. We also know that tuition bills can be a bit overwhelming. That’s why we established our Husband & Wife Law Team Scholarship as just one way of helping the ones who will be part of moving society forward. Our firm awards one $1,000 scholarship to two deserving applicants, both to one high school senior or college student in Arizona and to another anywhere in the United States. As part of the application process, applicants write about how they will use what they learn from school in the world they will enter.
We’d like to send a huge congratulations to the winners of the 2022 scholarships! Joining us in recognizing these two outstanding individuals:
Rachel A.
Cayton O.
We read and were inspired by how you both overcame your own uncertainty and adversity, and how you will use your unique experiences for the benefit of others. It is our hope that this scholarship you both receive will encourage you to keep working toward achieving your goals. We invite our readers to read each of their essays by clicking here.
In the course of all the transitory change that this generation has endured, our nation’s students have adapted and continue to persevere. They’re truly a special group with so much to give. Passions they’ve had for contributing to this world may have grown in some cases and evolved in others. The difference they’ll make will surely be felt.
Thank you to all the applicants who applied this year. We’re honored by the opportunity to learn so many of your stories, and we encourage you to apply next year if you are still eligible for this scholarship. You can stay tuned for news about the firm and future scholarship opportunities on both our blog and Facebook page.
Once again, congratulations to both of our 2022 applicants that were selected this year!
