As hit and run collision attorneys, we were shocked to hear that a driver smashed into a bus stop near 67th Avenue and Camelback Road at 3 p.m. on February 14, 2012. The driver stopped momentarily, asked if everyone was all right, and then left. Witnesses describe the driver as a black man in his 30s driving a white Hyundai Sonata with the license plate ARV4480. The people who were injured include a 46-year-old man and two women, ages 28 and 38. They suffered non-life threatening injuries, but had to be rushed to the hospital. Our thoughts are with them as they start their road to recovery. We urge anyone with information about this driver to contact police immediately.
Causes of This Hit and Run Collision
This hit and run collision was most likely caused by a distracted driver. Reports at this time do not indicate that any other cars were involved, so it is likely the driver just wasn’t paying attention when he veered into the bus stop. He could also have been drunk. Many drivers get distracted by cell phones, their radios, other drivers, and more. Driving distracted can be just as dangerous as driving drunk in some cases.

Personal Injury Attorneys: The Team
The Husband and Wife Law Team are personal injury attorneys who understand how dangerous hit and run crashes can be. Many times, victims are left injured without the ability to call 9-1-1 themselves. When a driver flees the scene, they put these people at a greater risk of serious injury or death because they don’t stay to help. We hold these at-fault drivers responsible by working to obtain settlements from them that pay for the medical expenses and other costs the victims may incur.
