It’s that time of year again! The Husband and Wife Law Team is back with scholarships for 2021. Two diligent and passionate students will be given a $1,000 scholarship for their higher education. One winner will be picked from Arizona, and one will be picked from anywhere else in the country.
How to Apply for the HWLT Scholarship
Mark and Alexis Breyer are dedicated parents of several college-aged children, and know firsthand just how expensive a post-secondary education can be. From tuition to books to housing, very little of the college experience can be considered cheap. That is why the Husband and Wife Law Team that started Breyer Law Offices, P.C., decided to offer these two scholarships to the students of America.
To start your application, you must meet certain criteria, including:
Be a high school senior on track to graduate or college student in good standing with their school
Have at least a 3.0 GPA
Be an American citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient
Be enrolled in or accepted into a 2- or 4-year college
If you meet those criteria, then you need to write a short essay of 500 to 1,000 words covering the following question:
We at Breyer Law Offices, P.C., have met countless people who studied one subject in college but practiced another for their career. You might study art but become a business owner. You might study medicine but become a writer. So how do YOU intend to use what you learn in college, no matter what field you end up working in?
If you are looking for inspiration, feel free read the essays of our past winners. Once you have completed your brilliant essay, be sure to fill out the rest of the application form and have it submitted by the deadline of April 21, 2021. Following that, we will look over all of the essays and announce our chosen finalists on May 5, 2021, then choose our winners and announce them on June 8, 2021.
Good luck to all of our applicants! For further updates, feel free to follow our blog and our Facebook page. If you know of any students who may be interested in either of these scholarships, please share this opportunity with them! We at Breyer Law Offices, P.C., would love nothing more than to hear from as many students as possible.
