Karin Carbajal has been a paralegal since 2004 practicing areas of family law, criminal defense, estate planning, and personal injury. She enjoys personal injury the most.
Karin graduated from Arizona Wester College (AWC) with an Associates of Arts in Paralegal Studies and a minor in Art. Karin was captain of the AWC Women’s Soccer Team while attending collage and still plays soccer today.
She has two wonderful children. Her son joined the US Army right after high school following in his father’s footsteps. Karin’s daughter also plans to join the Army once she graduates. Karin also has 4 furry children which she couldn’t live without.
Q/A with Karin
How do you like spending your free time?
Karin likes to spend her free time with her family & dogs. Karin loves to cook and grill for her family and friends. She also loves to be outside and do pretty much anything where the dogs can join in on keep the entire family active. One of her favorite family activities is to drive up to San Diego to the dog beach. When not out and about Karin enjoys watching movies at home with some good snacks, her family and dogs all cuddled up on the coach.
What is your favorite food?
Karin’s favorite foods usually consist of some sort of noodles. She never gets tired of Asian food. Some examples would be pad Thai, Lo Mein, Chop Suey, Pho, and Sushi. Karin also enjoys eating tacos! Karin is definitely a foodie and is always open to trying new things
Who is your favorite sports team?
Karin enjoys many different sports such as soccer, UFC, boxing, football, softball, and baseball, soccer being her all time favorite. You will normally find Karin watching the Champions league and Liga MX games. Some of Karin’s favorite soccer teams are Barcelona and Club America. Karin’s also an Arizona Cardinal’s fan but if she has to choose between a football game and a soccer game it will be soccer every time.
Why do you work at The Husband & Wife Law Firm?
Karin works at the Husband & Wife Law Team because she shares the empathy and compassion for clients that Alexis and Mark Breyer do. Karin had a horrible experience with a personal injury matter in the past. Karin will never forget how alone she felt during that time and prays that no one ever has to feel that way. After Karin’s motor vehicle accident, she immediately turned her paralegal focus to personal injury. When Karin heard that the Husband & Wife Law Team was growing she did not hesitate to join the team to help as many people as she could during their time of need.
