This year, we’re doing it again! The Husband and Wife Law Team is offering two $1,000 scholarships to two outstanding students—one from Arizona, our home state, and one from somewhere else in the country!
With college-aged children of their own, Mark and Alexis Breyer know how expensive post-secondary education is these days. That is why our Phoenix personal injury firm is proud to offer this money to two deserving applicants, to help pay a portion of their upcoming costs.
The deadline to apply is June 18, 2019, and we’ll be choosing the winners by July 16th. How do you apply, you ask? Keep reading to find out!
Who Can Apply for the Scholarship?
You must be a high school senior on track to graduate, or a current college student in good standing. You must have at least a 3.0 GPA, and be an American citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient. You must be enrolled in or accepted to an institute of higher learning.
Most importantly, you must tell us about yourself in a 500-1,000-word essay:
The Husband and Wife Law Team knows a lot of people major in a subject they don’t end up working with. You might study art but become a business owner. You might study medicine but become a writer. So how do YOU intend to use what you learn in college, no matter what field you end up working in?
Fill out the form completely, submit it by the deadline, and that’s it! You may be the one to walk away with one thousand dollars for educational expenses, like tuition or housing or books! In addition, we’ll share your picture and essay on our website and social media, to celebrate with you!
Check Out Our Winners from Last Year!
In 2018, Breyer Law Offices, P.C., offered four different $1,000 prizes to Arizona students who highlighted an important message: Arrive Alive: Taking a Stand Against Reckless/Drunk Driving. Through graphic design, poetry, video, and essay, these four winners showed their dedication to remaining alcohol-free while on the road. Let their work inspire you for this year!
Please keep an eye out for announcements on our blog and Facebook page, and good luck! You can also email josie@breyerlaw.com (ensure the subject line reads “Attention: Scholarship Manager”) or contact us for more information. We will be contacting our finalists a few weeks before choosing the winners to confirm details and verify eligibility.
Please share this scholarship opportunity with every eligible student you know, in Arizona and beyond! We look forward to meeting you in writing!
